With expertise in labor management, operational performance improvement and operational redesign, Scott has experience supporting multiple clients in his hospital operations.
Scott joined UTMB from Premier Performance Partners and was a project manager for several large multi-facility system installations, Scott was responsible for delivering high quality services to his clients, while providing support to all levels of leadership.
Scott supported the creation of a labor management committee by tailoring Premier’s best practice guidelines to fit the hospital’s culture. Scott’s experience spans operational performance improvement, workforce management program leadership and coaching, comparative opportunity assessments, assisting client hospitals with operational redesign efforts and operational and clinical data analysis.
Scott received a Bachelor of Business Administration in Accounting from National College. He received Lean Healthcare Certification from North Carolina State University anticipated in 2017.
Fun fact: Scott’s second daughter was born when he was 15 years old. (He adopted a young daughter as an adult—she was born when he was 15 but he adopted her in his 20s.)
