Our leaders and team members attended the 2023 Texas Society of Health-System Pharmacy (TSHP) annual seminar in Galveston earlier this month.
The UTMB Inpatient Pharmacy team members represented our department and organization well through their participation and recognition. We all learned new things and best practices to continue to advance our practice and provide best care for our patients.
Our innovative medication distribution model with the new XR2 robots, especially our hub-and-spoke distribution plans, gained much attention among leaders.
Some notable recognition for our team members included:
1st Place in Poster Competition for our PGY-1 residents, Khyati Amin and Eunice Lee
Honorable Mention in the Poster Competition for our PGY-2 ID resident, Valerie Buckley
The Lewis S. Smith Pharmacy Practitioner Award for our Neonatology/Pediatrics PCPS, Jordan Burdine
