Jennifer Sarpalius named vice president and CFO

After an extensive nationwide search, Jennifer “Jenny” Sarpalius, CPA, has been named vice president and chief financial officer for the UTMB Health System.

Jenny is a seasoned health care finance executive and has held CFO positions with LCMC Health, Louisiana; Cancer Treatment Centers of America, Florida; and CHI St. Luke’s, Houston. She has very strong finance experience in multiple health care settings and is well versed in operations and strategic planning. Her experience with academic medical centers and knowledge of the Houston market is a plus.  

Jenny began work here at UTMB Health System on June 5 and reports directly to Dr. Tim Harlin, executive vice president & CEO, UTMB Health System.
