The Ambulatory Always Award goes to Texas City Urgent Care, which also has consistently received a high score for “the likelihood to recommend” category, with scores in the 80% to 87% range.
Robert Trieu, associate vice president, Faculty Group Practice Business Development and Clinical Operations, who announced the award at the meeting, said he can personally vouche for this clinic.
“On a personal note, this is one of the urgent cares that I've had the fortune or, well, I guess we'll say that I was fortunate during my time of misfortune to be able to get in with them and they were able to get me patched up quickly,” he said.
Among some of the patient comments for Texas City Urgent Care:
- “Saw NP Alicia Barren, she was wonderful and caring. I felt she was sympathetic to my pain and showed genuine interest trying to help me.”
- “Only had to wait about five minutes to be seen. The NP was great and helped me pick out a doctor at the facility to see as a primary care physician.”
- “Everything was excellent with Ms. Chavez. She’s so engaging with my son and very patient."
- “Every aspect of my visit was exceptional.”
