Why did you decide to go into anesthesiology?
I chose anesthesia because it is the BEST advanced nursing career, and I had many awesome mentors who were CRNAs!
What is the best part of your job?
The best part of my job is relieving pain and anxiety in my patients, understanding the dynamic nature in caring for them and learning new fun techniques!
What is the most challenging part of your job?
The challenging part of my job is knowing that everyone else (non anesthesia professionals) thinks what we do is easy!
Most memorable moment on the job?
The most memorable moment in my career as a CRNA was the day I met my husband in the OR.
One piece of advice or information you would like your patients to know:
I often tell my patients: Take a deep breath, pick out a nice dream, relax and enjoy the ride!
