New system in place for tech service requests

All Information Technology Services support requests—from new data drops to printer repair to project proposals—are now being routed through the IT-Start landing page: www.utmb.edu/itstart.

This includes new Epic department setups and all other services formerly accessed through MyUTMB that accept optimizations for Epic modules. The new application for submitting requests is Ivanti, which will streamline access to the services offered.

“This new landing page should make it easier for users to get to the right place to request services, submit information that will ensure that requests are properly routed and approved and check on the progress of each request,” ITS Associate Vice PresidentOwen Huett said.

To assist with the transition to Ivanti Service Catalog, please review this decision matrix that maps MyUTMB applications to the new Ivanti Service Offerings.

Use this step-by-step guide for assistance navigating the revamped service request process.
