Dr. Jerry Mansfield announced at April’s Health System Leadership Team meeting that Jennie Sealy 9A, Intermediate Specialty Care Unit, is the winner of the Always Award for the second quarter.
“This is a story of leadership,” Mansfield said. “I want to specifically thank Nurse Manager Rachel Ussery for her work on this unit. It's extraordinary. You can see in the data and the comments the change that has been made in this space
“Look at the HCAHPS rating,” he added. “In ‘responsiveness of hospital staff,’ with about 27 responses, 66.67 percent gave a top box rating of nine or 10.
Mansfield also mentioned that the “responsiveness of hospital staff” rating was 57.79 percent in June through August 2024 and after a change in leadership wound up at 67.44 percent in December 2024 through February 2025 and that the “rate the hospital grade” of 9/10 was 66.67 percent June through August 2024; 87.88 percent September through November; and 92.33 percent December 2025 through February 2025.

At the same meeting, Dr. Vicente Resto announced in that the Webster Psychiatry Clinic is the winner of the Ambulatory Always Award for the second quarter of fiscal year 2025.
“This clinic in the second quarter consistently received high scores, above 90 percent, particularly around the ‘likelihood to recommend’ scores,” Resto said.

“Respondents’ comments speak to the friendliness and efficiency of the staff and talk about our phone agents, which of course are not only in the clinic but also in the access center,” he said. “And then it dives into some of our physicians, with a lot of very nice comments.”
