We’re growing! Construction update on new hospitals and more
Due to continuous growth and on-going repairs from Hurricane Ike, construction is in full swing at UTMB. Many faculty, students and staff have questions on our progress — and we hear you. Here’s an update on new hospital construction and more:

UTMB Galveston Campus
Market Street: May 31
After quite a bit of construction, Market Street on the Galveston Campus will reopen to two-way traffic at the end of the month. The street’s partial closure was due to the campus’ district heating and cooling project.
NOTE: Inclement weather could delay construction and scheduled opening dates.
