After a successful run that spanned five decades, the final Impact was published in January 2020.  Impact was UTMB Health’s employee newsletter. It evolved from a one color printed tabloid newspaper to a full color magazine with a digital component. We’ve archived the past several years on these pages for your review and enjoyment.

UTMB Transportation staff gather in front of Jennie Sealy Hospital to help move mothers and infants arriving on emergency buses. More than 110 patients were evacuated from John Sealy Hospital after a fire broke out in a non-patient area on Jan. 4. Transportation staff, coordinated by supervisors John Myles, Renee Martin and Rosa Gary, responded to the call for assistance and immediately began rounding up wheelchairs, stretchers and other needed equipment.
