Welcome to the March 2019 issue of Impact.
With the arrival of spring comes a time of tremendous activity for UTMB—opening a new hospital, moving some of our clinics to improve access and continuing expansion and renovation work in League City and Galveston. Please stay tuned in this and future issues of Impact to learn more about these projects, which are so important for the long-term success of our mission.
I hope you had a chance to access the 2019 Mondays in March presentations, either in person or online. If you haven’t—or if you want to refresh what you heard—I encourage you to view the video of each session. We did something a little different this year in hosting a series of panel discussions among UTMB experts on our growth, the changing health care landscape, our academic foundation and a look ahead with senior executives.
