After a successful run that spanned five decades, the final Impact was published in January 2020.  Impact was UTMB Health’s employee newsletter. It evolved from a one color printed tabloid newspaper to a full color magazine with a digital component. We’ve archived the past several years on these pages for your review and enjoyment.

UTMB’s Primary and Specialty Care Clinic in Texas City has reopened to patients after undergoing major repairs due to flood damage following Hurricane Harvey. All clinics within the 31,000 square-foot building are now open except Urgent Care, which is scheduled to reopen Jan. 2 and Audiology and Speech Pathology, which is scheduled to reopen on Jan. 22. This shot was taken on Dec. 8, following a rare dusting of snow in the Houston/Galveston region.
