More than 270 volunteers on 12 regional teams throughout Texas have raised $128 million since 2003, Fred Burns, chairman of UTMB's "Timeless Values, Pioneering Solutions" fundraising program, said Friday. Contributions already received support such programs as the Moody Center for Brain and Spinal Cord Research; the George P. and Cynthia Woods Mitchell Center for Alzheimer's Disease Research; and the Regional Maternal and Child Health Telehealth Program, Burns said.
