Many children today are so involved with extracurricular activities it leaves them feeling stressed out. The story notes the American Psychological Association finds that teenagers reported being more stressed than adults did. According to UTMB’s Julia Poritz, basic health behaviors are contributing to those feelings. “It’s not getting enough sleep, healthy meals and not having enough down time and time for relaxation,” said Poritz.
