UTMB SECC 2024 State Employee Charitable Campaign

Each fall, state employees are given the opportunity to learn about the charities in the SECC, choose which ones they wish to help, and then fill out a pledge form to indicate how much they wish to donate to which groups.

SECC: Nothing spooky about these results, as deadline looms

SECC 2020 BadgeThank you.  It’s 2020: we expected the worst. We know many families are struggling. There’s still a lot of uncertainty and disruption. We couldn’t ask or expect much, even though the needs have never been greater.

Instead of the worst, and in spite of our “bare bones” approach, the people of UTMB stepped forward with open hearts and wallets. This morning we are very close to $300,000 in contributions, pledged during the past two weeks by more than 1,000 people. That is wonderful, and on behalf of the many who will benefit and be helped by this generosity, we are very grateful for your support.

The campaign closes at midnight on Halloween, Oct. 31. If you can, you still have time to make a pledge. It’s fast and simple, and feels good. Make your pledge now.

We thank you, and wish you and your loved ones a wonderful and safe weekend.

For the last time,
