Meanwhile, based on campus requests, this year we'll enable people to "opt out" of a gift if they prefer, allowing a few additional dollars to support the campaign. The check box to do so is on the pledge forms.
We know people don't make a pledge in exchange for a gift. Our long history with the SECC has taught us that people give for all the right reasons: out of commitment to their community or cause, because they feel it is a duty to give back, because it makes them feel good to share.
