Dear Fellow UTMB Employees,
Last Friday, we concluded the 2018 State Employee Charitable Campaign, and I am happy to share that thanks to more than 2,270 generous members of our UTMB community, we’ve met our goal of a half-million dollars in charitable contributions.
I am thankful and appreciative for the incredible support, and grateful for the good the dollars will make possible in the communities where we live and work.
Thank you to all who have pledged, to all of the areas with high participation, and to our hardworking SECC volunteers. UTMB Health’s employees are amazing; your generosity and compassion are heroic.
Although the campaign has officially ended, we know there are some of you who may have wanted to pledge and lost the battle with the clock. We will leave the web site in place to accept pledges and contributions until midnight tonight to facilitate any last-minute gifts. You still have a chance to make your pledge.
UTMB’s support of the SECC over the past 25 years has been epic; it’s a powerful testament to the character and commitment of our people. To learn more and see our final total (after paper pledges and new gifts are tallied and added), check back on this site in a few days.
With heartfelt thanks and best wishes for a happy, healthy and SUPER holiday season,
