Last Friday night, we reached our goal in the 2019 State Employee Charitable Campaign. At that time, 2,228 members of our UTMB family had helped us raise more than a half-million dollars in charitable contributions to benefit the communities where we live and work.
Thank you to all who have pledged, to all of the areas with high participation, and to our hardworking SECC volunteers and ambassadors. Our results speak to the commitment and generosity of all involved.
The more we raise, the more it helps those in need. If you plan to participate, you still have time.
The campaign is set to end Wednesday night, but we will leave the SECC website in place to accept pledges and contributions through the holiday weekend. We welcome your pledges and appreciate your support.
In the coming days, we invite you to this website for our final results and the winner of the inaugural Vanguard Cup (Spoiler: our team in Angleton may have it locked up).
