We've moved away from premiums and giveaways the past couple of years. We don't think the prizes we can afford really work as an incentive to give, and most people (as you've told us repeatedly) would just prefer to see every available dollar be used
to support the causes and charities that are part of SECC. People give for the good feeling that comes from helping others, because they are generous in nature, out of a commitment to make the world better and help others, because a cause is important
to them, or for a host of personal reasons as varied and important as the charities on our lists.
Whatever the reason, we appreciate your support. And we want to show our thanks.
We experimented last year with a few stickers. They're really economical but can carry the SECC message in an enduring and engaging way. We think they're a nice way to remind you of the support you provided, to rekindle throughout the year the warm
feeling you get from giving. We plan to be getting the first stickers out in campus mail next week. Plaster yours up someplace and share your love. And THANK YOU.
