Our Support Matters/Makes a Difference

Nov 3, 2021, 16:50 PM by SECC Volunteers

A message shared this afternoon by Health System EVP & CEO Dr. Tim Harlin did a really good job capturing what is at the heart of UTMB and the SECC. He said:

"Without question, UTMB provides a great service to our communities. We are here for our patients 24/7 despite storms, pandemics and a host of other challengesit’s what we do and it’s one of the many reasons UTMB is such a special place to work. But now is the time of year to remember that our community is also here for us. The SECC is the time for us to give back; it’s a time for us to acknowledge that where we work and where we live is made better through the collective efforts of so many deserving charities."

The SECC helps our friends and neighbors, strengthens the communities where we live, work, play and raise our families. Share what you can; it's easy and feels good.  The campaign runs through the end of this week, Friday, Nov. 5. Please consider MAKING YOUR PLEDGE NOW.
