Humbled, and grateful. Those are the first words that come to mind in these closing hours of the 2021 SECC, where we once again proved that "Anything is Possible."
The outpouring of support and generosity displayed by so many members of the UTMB workforce has been amazing. As of Friday afternoon, almost 1,400 UTMB employees have pledged more than $380,000! (See our current progress.)
The dollars will make a difference in the lives of our neighbors, in our communities, and for important causes near and far.
Although the campaign officially ends today, the online giving portion of the site will be left in place until 11:59 pm on Monday, Nov. 8, while cash and paper pledges are collected and tallied. If you wanted to make a pledge but ran out of time or are working this weekend, you still have a chance.
We'll soon be making an announcement with our final numbers and the presentation of the 2021 Vanguard Award. Watch for details, and watch campus mail for "stickers of appreciation" being sent to our supporters.
