The Division of Plastic Surgery was honored to host Dr. Cristiane Ueno, MD, as a visiting professor. During her visit, Dr. Ueno delivered a series of engaging and informative lectures, including “Navigating Leadership Spaces as an Academic Plastic Surgeon,” “Pros and Cons of Different Practice Environments: Rural Practice, Group Health Care Models and Large Academic Practices” and “Creating Psychologically Safe Spaces for Educating Medical Students and Residents.”

In addition, plastic surgery residents presented clinical cases, received valuable insights, and personalized feedback from Dr. Ueno, further enriching their educational experience.
