King's expertise includes health care and regulatory law, hospital compliance, fraud and abuse, medical liability, physician practice and clinical research. In her role as General Counsel, she oversees Legal Affairs, Institutional Compliance, Technology Transfer and International Affairs and serves on the President's Executive Committee. In her past position as Vice President and Chief Compliance Officer for the University of Texas M.D. Anderson Cancer Center, she was responsible for all aspects of institutional and health care compliance and served as an adviser on general health law matters. Prior to this she served as a lawyer for the UT System. She has worked as in-house counsel for Insurance Corporation of America and as a lawyer for the U.S. Department of Health and Human Services. He is responsible for evaluating Invention disclosures, marketing and negotiating license agreements and assisting in the formation of startups. Prior to joining OTT, he worked as the Chief Market Research Analyst for Sucampo Pharmaceuticals, a biotechnology company in Bethesda, MD. His main role was conducting primary and secondary marketing research on products in the pipeline, and providing support to licensing and business development activities. Sundeep holds a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Maryland, College Park and a MBA in Marketing and Information Technology from the University of Delaware. Frances Streeter, JD × Frances Streeter, JD Senior Legal Officer and Export Control Officer email@example.com, (409) 772-0376 Frances Streeter is a licensed attorney for the States of Texas, Tennessee and Arkansas, and is a registered patent attorney. Frances is responsible for handling UTMB's intellectual property issues regarding sponsored research related agreements, technology transfer agreements, and IP related agreements. For over a decade, she has served as the university's export control representative. Additionally, Frances teaches classes and conducts regular trainings and presentations on intellectual property and export controls. Frances is also the Chair of UTMB's Export Control Compliance Committee. Frances received her bachelor of science degree from the University of Central Arkansas at Conway and her juris doctor degree from the William H. Bowen School of Law at the University of Arkansas at Little Rock. She manages material transfer (MTA) and confidentiality (CDA) agreements. Ade is a licensed attorney for the State of Texas. She most recently served as Assistant General Counsel for the Commercial Transactions Group with ABM Industries Inc., and has prior service in the health care and clinical research industry having served as Director of Business Development and Contracts for Memorial Hermann Hospital-Southwest, Contracts and Grants Associate in Baylor College of Medicine’s Office of Sponsored Programs, Finance and Contracts Analyst with Discovery Alliance, Inc. a Clinical Research Organization, and other allied health care roles in and around the Texas Medical center. Ade studied journalism at The University of Saint Thomas, holds a Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from the University of Houston and a JD from Thurgood Marshall School of Law.
