UTMB Health values its position as one of the largest employers in the region, and its role as an important provider of health care. Our institution understands the impact that each member of the UTMB community has on environmental and ecological systems through daily commuting. We also understand the challenges that some patients and other customers may have in accessing services when ready transportation is not in place.
To meet these needs in a responsible fashion, UTMB strives to encourage and promote environmentally friendly commuting opportunities through services such as vanpooling, ride sharing, biking, and innovative public transportation. Read below to learn more.
