How We Train

A Progressive Training System That Works.

We start with pre-assessment, so we can tailor training to each individual. Then, with a successive merger of theoretical and practical training, biosafety training can effectively take place. The final phase is post-assessment, which provides evidence of knowledge attained and the application capacity of each individual.

Any size group, any location.

We offer biosafety training either at your location, or at our training center in Galveston, Texas. If you decide it’s more efficient, we’ll bring our training team to you. Either way, we know how to put our established methods into practice and determine the safest possible ways for your personnel to conduct research.

If you have specific requirements, our trainers will come and work side-by-side with your personnel at your facility. This versatility allows us to target biosafety training effectively and efficiently.

Our team is comprehensive, experienced and able to support the needs of small to large organizations.

Our 4-Step Process //

Our progressive approach to customized training ensures a comprehensive and effective experience for each laboratorian.

Pre-Assessment
To begin training, both a written and practical assessment are given to each trainee. This will allow the determination of experience and what level of training will be required.
Theoretical Training
During the theoretical class, we cover valuable techniques from proper biosafety cabinet use to the safe manipulation of biohazardous materials. Attention is given to the basics, like proper donning and doffing of PPE, as well as advanced critical biohazard risk control, decontamination and effective biosafety performance.
Practical Training
Practical training includes correct use of common laboratory equipment, utilizing non-infectious materials, providing the vital hands-on element of training.
Post-Assessment
A final assessment, identical to the initial assessment, will be conducted, and recommendations made. Recommendations will include work the trainee can perform safely and immediately, and areas that may need further attention.
