JeT’Aime M. Newton, B.S., M.S., RBP

JeT Newton is a Biosafety consultant, Division of Biosafety at University of Texas Medical Branch at Galveston where she is responsible for daily safety operations, technical assistance and support. Her duties include supporting leadership in the development and implementation of programs for biological, chemical, fire safety and environmental health. Train lab personnel per Texas law for Hazardous Communication Act. Perform safety audits in clinical, research and select agent settings (BSL-1 – BSL-4).

Vickie C. Jones, M.S.

Vickie C. Jones is a BSL2 and BSL3 trainer for the Institutional Biosafety Training Center (IBTC), a component of Environmental Health and Safety, Biosafety Program. She is also a consultant for UTMB's Biosafety Program in the department of Environmental Health and Safety.

Belinda Rivera, MLAS, LVT, RLATG, CMAR

Belinda Rivera is a Laboratory Biosafety Training Consultant for the UTMB International Biosafety Training Center.  Her primary training courses include ABSL3, ABSL3 and ABSL4.

Belinda has 20+ years of experience in research working with a diversity of animal models.  Her work experience includes cardiovascular, surgical training, cancer, imaging, and biosafety training in both private industry working under Good Laboratory Practices and in academia.

Sheri Brodie

Sheri Brodie, B.S., RLATG, CMAR

Sheri joined the International Biosafety Training Center (IBTC) as a Laboratory Biosafety Training Specialist.  While her primary responsibility is the ABSL2 training course, she can assist with additional training courses when demand increases.

Corrie Ntiforo, MSPH, RBP

Corrie is a Biosafety Consultant at the University of Texas Medical Branch (UTMB) at Galveston, where her duties include select agent laboratories, high and maximum containment facilities, BSL4 Biosafety Training Program and training of healthcare workers to work in hospital biocontainment units with patients infected with Emerging Infectious Diseases (EID). Corrie is HAZWOPER (40 hour) trained, certified as an IATA Dangerous Goods shipper, and trained in FEMA Incident Response.  She is also a voting member of the UTMB Institutional Animal Care and Use Committee (IACUC) and an advisor to the Institutional Biosafety Committee (IBC).
