We know many UTMB employees will respond enthusiastically and support the Good Neighbor Program. Taking care of people is what we already do, and often we see staff reach in their own pockets to help out a patient or family at a time of despair. We already set records and earn acclaim for charitable giving--but that's not why we do it. We do it because we care, because helping someone in a time of need is the right thing to do. We help out of compassion and with generosity in our hearts.
The Good Neighbor program is an easy, effective and efficient way to put Best Care into action. Our contributions help improve the quality of life for the patients and families we serve, as they return home and to life in their communities.
