The mission of the Resuscitation Research Laboratory (RRL) is to discover, develop and test fluids and medical devices for treating shock and trauma.

We provide improved resuscitation therapies for the initial care of circulatory shock resulting from hemorrhage, trauma, burns, and cardiac arrest.

The RRL is pursuing the development of decision support and closed-loop resuscitation systems, small-volume resuscitation formulations, and smart monitoring technology for trauma and combat casualty care.
