School of Health Professions Alumni

The UTMB School of Health Professions was the first allied health school in the Southwest when it was established in 1968. Since then, the school has granted degrees and certificates to more than 11,000 graduates in several areas of health professions.

The UTMB School of Health Professions Alumni Association exists to strengthen and support the School of Health Professions by promoting life-long relationships between alumni, current students, faculty, university leadership, and friends of UTMB.

Gifts to the School of Health Professions Annual Funds are used to meet the needs and emerging priorities of the school as determined by the Dean in conjunctions with leadership and faculty.

Supporting the School of Health Professions Scholarship Fund empowers students by helping them meet their financial needs.

2025 Distinguished Alumnus Awardee

This award, the highest bestowed by the School of Health Professions Alumni Association, is presented annually to one alumnus who has made major contributions to the health professions through commitment of excellence, research, education, community service, and leadership roles.
