Oct. is American Pharmacists Month. Our pharmacists are an integral part of the UTMB Health team in the provision of patient care and play a primary role in our vision of the future. The pharmacy uses up to date and advance technology, including a Robot, Carousel, Pyxis, and CPOE, which allows for advancement of pharmacy technician support, and strategic placement of professional staff to provide the optimal level of clinical services to support patient care.
UTMB Health not only has pharmacists in our central pharmacies, but all over the hospital providing clinical services. UTMB salutes all of our pharmacists.
