Campus security report
The 2014 editions of the UTMB Campus Security Report, Fire Safety Report and Maintaining a Drug-Free Campus are now available. UTMB is committed to ensuring campus safety and maintaining a professional working and learning environment that is free from the influence of drugs and alcohol.
Each year, the UTMB Police Department issues a report outlining crime prevention programs, including statistics and vital safety information; a fire safety report, which provides fire safety policies and statistics for UTMB’s on-campus student housing areas; and a brochure with important messages on how to maintain a drug-free campus. View the reports at www.utmb.edu/securityreport, www.utmb.edu/firesafetyreport, and www.utmb.edu/drug-free.

New manager training program
UTMB has developed a new training program to strengthen the foundational knowledge and leadership skills of its managers. Managers are critical to the overall success of the institution and to helping promote a positive and professional work environment for its patients, students and staff. The Foundational Managerial Training Program was established to develop this key group of employees, and it will assist with building and reinforcing the skills and abilities needed to lead people and processes.
