Tracy Orwig, LCSW‑S, FNAP, is the Director of Interprofessional Education and an Associate Professor of Practice at the University of Texas at Arlington School of Social Work. Her background includes pediatric and adult emergency care, discharge planning, transplant social work, rehabilitation case management, hospice, and pediatric mental health. Since 2019, she has developed and coordinated IPE initiatives with UTA and universities across Texas. Her work includes programs on child maltreatment, domestic violence, disaster simulation, disability, and ethics. Tracy is a Distinguished Fellow of the National Academies of Practice and a recipient of the Texas IPE Consortium Distinguished Fellow Award.
