Unfortunately, this will be the last issue of UTMB’s One Health Newsletter

Colleagues

It is with considerable dismay that I must report that due to the loss of support, we no longer have the manpower to continue developing and releasing our monthly UTMB One Health Newsletter. Hence, this 45th issue (June 2026) will likely be our last.

The newsletter reports are archived on our UTMB One Health website: https://www.utmb.edu/one-health/news-events/newsletter-issues

Since our first issue was released in April 2022, young scholars at UTMB have benefitted from interviewing many of you and summarizing your One Health research and training in the newsletter. Also, our newsletter helped the scholars hone their writing skills, as well as enhancing the awareness of the excellent UTMB One Health program. The newsletter often went out to more than 5,000 email addresses.

Man by wall of china

We thank our young scholar writers, our editors, and our readers for your enthusiastic support.

Sincerely

Professor Gregory C. Gray, MD, MPH

Departments of Internal Medicine (Infectious Diseases Division) and Microbiology & Immunology
