2026 Research Summit

Advancing Discovery Across The Lifespan

The 2026 Research Summit will celebrate and showcase innovative research across all UTMB schools and disciplines dedicated to improving health and well-being across the lifespan. We invite presentations and posters that address health concerns spanning from pre-natal care to aging populations, and encompassing all areas of inquiry, including basic and social science, translational research, and clinical studies

Hosted by Chief Research Office and the Council of Vice Chairs for Research, the summit is an opportunity to highlight collaborative interdisciplinary work that advances knowledge and impacts patient care, public health, and scientific discovery.

Taking place over a day and a half, the 2026 Research Summit will be held in the Health Education Center on Thursday, May 7 and the Levin Hall Dining Room on Friday, May 8.
