Colleen Suthon

Colleen Suthon joined UTMB in 2015 and currently serves as the Program Manager for the Faculty Relations team in the Office of the Provost.  Colleen plays an integral role in project management including faculty MOA planning; postdoc laddering/increases; faculty, postdoc, and CBC provider evaluations in POWER/myPOWER; and merit planning in HCM for the Academic Enterprise. 

Colleen has performed in several progressive roles with a focus on the management of a multitude of human resource functions.  Colleen also has experience in developing and implementing internal controls to increase the overall efficiency of the recruitment and hiring process.  

Prior to joining UTMB, Colleen spent close to 10 years working for Santa Fe ISD and Galveston ISD.  She has close to 20 years providing high-performance public service through hospital, public school and police administration. 

Colleen loves to travel with her husband, David, and together they have visited numerous cities in 12 countries on five continents.  Colleen is extremely proud of her daughter, Shara, who is working toward her RN degree.
