Data & Business Intelligence Manager

Kanimozhi (Kani) Chinnapayah has been with UTMB since June 2010 and joined the Provost’s Office in January 2013. In her current role as Data and BI Manager, she architects and manages the databases and ETL process, ensures data quality, mentors team members, and collaborates with various teams to ingest data and generate reports for multiple incentive plans at UTMB.

Before joining UTMB, Kani gained about three years of software/web development experience working as a consultant for major retail corporations.

Kani holds an MBA from C.T. Bauer College of Business at the University of Houston and a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from India. Outside of her professional responsibilities, Kani enjoys cooking, exploring state parks, hiking, and photography.
