Maida Ortiz

Maida Ortiz joined the Provost’s Office in November 2023. Maida is an Administrative Specialist who supports the service center by processing procurement requests.  

Before joining the Provost’s Office in 2023, Maida worked for the Department of Family and Protective Services for 20 years.  Maida spent 10 years as an Office Coordinator/Director’s Administrative Assistant and 10 years working as an HR Specialist with the agency. 

When she is not at her desk, Maida enjoys spending time with family and friends. She loves traveling with her husband, getting to know different cultures, hiking and camping.
