Tayja Lewis

Tayja Lewis joined the Provost’s Office in April 2023. Tayja is an Administrative Specialist who supports the Visiting Education Program by processing individuals’ applications to observe/shadow at UTMB.  Tayja knows that she is making a difference by helping these individuals with an opportunity to learn at UTMB. 

Before joining the Provost’s Office, Tayja worked for seven months as a Patient Services Specialist in the Accountable Care Operations department. 

Tayja holds a Bachelor of Applied Science in healthcare services from the University of Houston-Clear Lake.  She plans to go back for her master’s degree in healthcare administration in the Spring of 2024.  

When Tayja is not busy working to get applicants processed, you can find Tayja enjoying a good television show, hanging out with family and friends, or playing with her yorkie, Jordynn.
