Reproducibility and Integrity in Observational Research: A Research Community Approach

Presented by Konrad H. Stopsack, MD MPH

Konrad Stopsack leads the Department of Epidemiologic Methods and Etiologic Research at the Leibniz Institute for Prevention Research and Epidemiology – BIPS in Bremen, Germany. He trained in epidemiology and biostatistics at Harvard School of Public Health in Boston, did his residency training in internal medicine at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, Minnesota, and completed his postdoctoral training in cancer epidemiology at Memorial Sloan Kettering Cancer Center in New York. His applied research focuses on molecular and cancer epidemiology, particularly prostate cancer, precancerous conditions, and cardiovascular disease. His methodologic and teaching interests include application and further development of epidemiologic methods to improve reproducibility, interpretability, and efficiency of epidemiologic studies.
