Activities included a program update by the director, co-deputy directors, and associate directors. Nine scholars (six Phase 1 and three phase 2) presented their research and accomplishments, and participated in a poster session. New this year was a panel discussion led by lead mentors and advisory board members that focused on expert tips for early career investigators. The panel and poster session allow scholars to interact with advisory board members and lead mentors to receive feedback on current projects/grants and future activities. The meeting also included updates from the National Center for Medical Rehabilitation Research (NCMRR), provided by Dr. Theresa Cruz (Program Officer).
