Rebeca Wong, PhD is presenting a keynote address, "About Resilient Aging – Evidence using the Mexican Health and Aging Study," in the 21st International Conference Series on Aging in the Americas: Resilience and Aging in the Americas. The conference is hosted by Kyriakos Markides from UTMB, Verónica Montes De Oca from UNAM, and Rogelio Saenz from UTSA.
Dr. Wong is Associate Director of SCOA and Peaches & Shrub Kempner Distinguished Professor in Health Disparities, Department of Preventive Medicine and Population Health. She is Director of the
WHO/ PAHO Collaborating Center on Aging and Health and Associate Director of the
Claude D. Pepper Older Americans Independence Center.
