The Sealy Center on Aging is offering a summer series of Lunch & Learn programs for older adults in association with Seaside Seniors, a group that meets weekly in Galveston.
The July 7th event was presented by the UTMB Geriatrics House Calls program. Nurse Practitioners provided Hurricane Preparedness kits and information about the State of Texas Emergency Assistance Registry (STEAR program) for the elderly and disabled.

The next Lunch & Learn will be held on July 28th at Grace Episcopal Church with presenters Jake Trione, Certified Master Fitness Trainer & Functional Aging Specialist, Co-Owner TriFitness Gym and John Adiletta, Co-Owner, TriFitness Gym discussing "Physical Activity & Aging."
