UTMB Sealy Center on Aging and UTMB Community Engagement, alongside 20 other healthcare vendors, collaborated to deliver essential senior care resources to more than 100 residents at Brookdale Senior Living in Clear Lake, TX, on Thursday, March 7, 2024. The event aimed to empower seniors with valuable information and support.
During the event, the Sealy Center on Aging presented insights into ongoing studies, including the Medicare Annual Wellness Visit Study, Urinary Incontinence in Older Women Study, and Caregiver and Patient Support Study. Attendees were furnished with copies of the SCOA Community Connection newsletter and a comprehensive list of ongoing studies available for participation.
This initiative underscored the commitment of UTMB and its partners to enhance the well-being and quality of life for senior members of the community, ensuring they have access to vital resources and opportunities for involvement in impactful research.
