In honor of their 100-year anniversary, Delta Omega will be hosting monthly webinars on public health historical events or seminal achievements throughout the last ten decades.

Public Health in the 1990’s: 1990’s and Hispanic Health/Aging Presented by: Delta Nu chapter, University of Texas Medical Branch School of Public and Population Health

This webinar will outline two of the most well-known, longitudinal cohort studies on the health and well-being of aging Hispanic adults – the Hispanic Established Populations for the Epidemiologic Study of the Elderly (H-EPESE) and the Mexican Health and Aging Study (MHAS). The PIs of these studies will present an overview of these studies, their key findings across 20+ years of follow-up, impact, and opportunities available with these datasets.
