The communities where we live and work have always been able to count on the kind spirit and generosity of our workforce. The support we provide accounts for more than 60 percent of the local United Way campaign, as an example, dollars that sustain a number of critical local organizations. These organizations support children and the elderly, families at risk, animal welfare, food security, literacy, education and much more. A shortfall by us translates into hardship for these agencies and the people and causes they serve.
