Surgical Sciences Postdoctoral Associate Presents at Baylor College of Medicine

Karen Pereira Larissa de Castro, PhD (Postdoctoral Associate) presented her study: “An Ancient Competition Between Two Branchpoint Binding Proteins Influences Physiological and Evolutionary Outcomes in Splicing” at Baylor College of Medicine’s RNA Club.  

Dr. Pereira Larissa de Castro’s research focuses on understanding the regulation of gene expression through the study of post-transcriptional regulation by the RNA-binding protein Quaking.
