Dr. Nicholas Howland (PGY-6) had the opportunity to be part of the 2017 Austin Smiles El Salvador medical mission trip. Over one week, more than 60 operations were performed ranging from cleft lip and palate to cleft rhinoplasty and orthognathic jaw surgery. The trip marked the 40th mission trip in 35 years by Austin Smiles to El Salvador!
