Dr. Michael Kueht and Jared Zhang (MS4) research manuscript, “Beyond prevention: Unveiling the benefits of triple vaccination on COVID-19 severity and resource utilization in solid organ transplant recipients,” is published in Transplant Immunology. 

Despite the success of COVID-19 vaccines in lowering illness and death in the general population, their effectiveness in solid organ transplant recipients (SOTR) is still unclear. This study looked into the outcomes of COVID-19 in SOTR who received two or three vaccine doses compared to those who were not vaccinated.
