Dr. Hisham Marwan has been appointed as an examiner for the 2025 Oral Certifying Examination by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery (ABOMS).

He is double board-certified and specializes in treating oral cancer, Jaw in A Day (JIAD) surgery, and obstructive sleep apnea. His pioneering work with the hypoglossal nerve stimulator (INSPIRE) at UTMB reflects his commitment to comprehensive patient care.
