Uma Phatak, MD, MS Appointed to the ASCRS Young Researchers Committee

Uma Phatak, MD, MS was recently appointed to the Research Foundation of the American Society of Colon & Rectal Surgeons (ASCRS) Young Researchers Committee. The Young Researchers Committee "develops and recommends educational programs, funding strategies, and potential research initiatives to the Board of Trustees" of the ASCRS. The minimum three-year appointment will allow Dr. Phatak to help guide the organization in a meaningful way.
