Dr. Klimberg featured on “Operative Word” Podcast

Dr. Suzanne Klimberg, MD, PhD, MSHCT, FACS and Dr. Roi Weiser, MD, were guests on the podcast ‘Operative Word’ hosted by Dr. Jamie Coleman, MD, and Dr. Daniel Dante Yeh, MD, MHPE, FACS, FCCM, FASPEN, CNSC. This episode was the discussion about their research manuscript, “Fluoroscopic Intraoperative neoplasm and node detection (FIND) for breast cancer.” It came to the interest of Dr. Coleman from the recent annual Southern Surgical Association meeting.

"Most women have an extra procedure to localize their breast lesion or cancer prior to surgery.  At UTMB we use FIND to more accurately locate the lesion after the patient has gone to sleep."
